Fatma is the Loop Lead for Somalia. She is experienced in Accountability and Feedback Mechanisms and has a strong background in Relationship Management, Micro-finance, and Sales and Marketing, gained over a period of four years working in the banking sector.
She also has Program Management skills as well as Gender and Protection mainstreaming and believes that the use of LOOP in fragile contexts like Somalia helps in effective delivery of humanitarian aid and development as it gives communities a voice across the project management cycle. Her vision is therefore to increase Loop subscription in Somalia as a factor to enhance Accountability to Affected Persons.
Fatma is multilingual and speaks English, Arabic, Swahili and Somali.
