Yussuf Jibril

Yussuf has extensive experience working with international NGOs, with a strong focus on protection and program implementation. He has contributed to key humanitarian initiatives with Save the Children International, the Danish Refugee Council, and the Department of Refugee Services (DRS), particularly within refugee and displacement contexts such as the Dadaab camps. His previous role as a Senior Moderator at Loop further strengthened his experience in community feedback and accountability mechanisms. Fluent in English, Swahili, and regional dialects including Maay and Bajuni, Yussuf brings strong communication and cultural competency to his work. He is passionate about empowering communities through counselling, community education, and inclusive, data-driven approaches to social development.
