Mai is an Accountability to Affected Populations enthusiast with over 10 years’ experience in the humanitarian sector. She has worked in community service, protection, ethics and safeguarding, as well as setting up and developing policies and handbooks for complaints and feedback mechanisms at INGOs and the UN. Mai’s passion for making organisations accountable to the people they serve, through serious and intentional work, has brought her to Loop as Sensitive Feedback Lead in the global team. She is Jordanian and Palestinian, has a master’s degree in clinical psychology. She speaks Arabic and English.
