Hamse Koshin is a seasoned Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) professional with over twelve years of experience in the humanitarian and development sectors. He has worked with several leading international organizations, including Development Alternatives Inc. (DAI), CARE International, Save the Children, and Catholic Relief Services, as well as national NGOs in Somalia. Hamse has held senior MEAL leadership roles at country, regional, and global levels, where he has led the design and implementation of innovative approaches to strengthen Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP). These have included the use of Voice ID technology, digital feedback systems, and the integration of biometric data to improve the delivery of humanitarian services. Throughout his career, Hamse has been driven by a commitment to inclusive, data-driven decision-making that places communities at the center. He holds a Master’s degree in Conflict and Development from the University of Exeter. Originally from Somalia, he is fluent in English.
