Talk To Loop is in temporary hibernation due to a lack of sustainable funding.

With our current resources sustaining us until June, the next three months are critical. If you're interested in supporting our cause, we urge you to share your opinions, suggestions and valuable insights through this survey:

Why Loop?

8 reasons to use Loop

1

Reduce reliance on field staff

Loop is a remote tool for communities to self-initiate feedback. During existing field visits you can demonstrate how Loop works and prompt community members to use it: benefitting from the ongoing engagement afterwards.

2

Independent and neutral

Communities are more likely to share openly, without bias, because of Loop’s independent nature. Loop lets people feedback about what is really important to them.

3

Sector/response-wide tool

This collective mechanism reduces duplication and confusion about where to give feedback. Loop can complement other feedback tools to give people choices. The data shows patterns of changes in needs over time and across demographics.

4

Trusted, timely, broader sets of data

Because Loop can be present before, during, and after a crisis, community trust is built and strengthened – eliminating the delays associated with setting up a new feedback mechanism.

5

Independent of projects, emergency responses or other interagency presence

Loop’s single system can be used across all of an organisation's projects and programs, as well as future emergency responses. It meets global best practice standards and donor requirements for feedback, M&E, complaints, and SEAH reporting requirements.

6

Available anywhere with phone service

Loop does not require an internet connection. All Loop’s services are accessible by phone. Individuals in communities can safely use Loop on a shared phone, and there are no mobile network costs as charges are reversed.

7

Responds to community messages in near real-time

Loop is available all the time, and Loop’s technology reduces the steps in processing messages – from translation, through data input and data cleaning. Loop’s system gives a broader range of people access to the data and allows them to respond easily, in near real time.

8

Completely safe reporting of sensitive topics

Users can remain anonymous if they wish, and choose what data they share. Data is aggregated to maintain user anonymity. Loop refers directly to your appropriate focal point for sensitive topics, to be integrated with your Case Management System and without Loop's ongoing engagement.
